I Janelle Laurin- Savage
have volenteered 5 1/2 hours at a spaghitti fund raiser in memory of the late
Aleksa Mcwhirter who suffered and lost her battle with Brain cancer.
She was my Dad's little cousin (my second cousin) and fought her battle for 10 months.
Passing away 1 day after her 15th b-day.
Her wish was to raise money to be giving to
McMaster Children's Hospital. To help find a cure, since currently there isnt any.
And no child has ever survived this cancer.
We raised over $3000.00 dollars at this event. and it was held at A social venue
